Might be my new favorite place! Prices are good ($7.95 for the boneless honey chicken, rice, and broccoli) and it was enough for 3 meals. My coworker is the one that brought me lunch and also got me the Thai iced tea and the mango with sticky rice. Everything tasted and smelled good. I finally found Sticky Rice open after the fourth time trying. Limited hours. I like that the menu is simple with only five or so items to choose from. Chicken and rice dishes can be hit or miss and this one was somewhere in the middle. It was good but not Teriyaki Chicken Bowl good. It lacked a little in flavor but still was good.
I walked by this place on a discovery walk to see what places were close by to my new office. I have gone in here twice now and have been pleasantly surprised each time. Food here is mostly a first come, first served in terms of options, but everything I have tried is delicious. Service is quick and pretty much everything is to go, making it a very fast easy lunch stop if you forgot lunch, need something fast, or just want to try something fresh/new. There are tables here, but they don't seem to be used or to really do indoor dining. Highly recommend and get there on the earlier side if you want options!
I've stopped here a couple of times, believing that they were still open at 3 PM. They weren't open. Apparently they close at 2 PM or when they run out of chicken. I had forgotten about the place until it was mentioned on Reddit. Today, I went at 11 AM; opening time. There was already a line forming. I got lemon grass chicken with noodles. Partner got honey chicken with rice. Both are delicious! I didn't taste the lemon grass. No matter, it's delicious. The honey chicken was sliced. I liked it the best. Noodles and rice are very tasty too. The portions are huge; it's a cheap meal. The sauce doesn't add any thing for me as it's just hot. This is take-out only. Food comes quick. Owner is friendly. Glad I went! A true hole in the wall gem.
This place is take out only. First off it's super authentic, very reasonably priced and very fast. The owners are the ones taking care of orders and cooking. It's always very busy when you go in and usually sells out by noon. You have to order fast because it's so delicious. You get a lot of food for the price you pay. There's a lot of options for food allergies.
